Hope everybody’s enjoying their summer. I took a month off from the site in June, but I’m back. We’ve had about 10 more people join the forums in the last month or 2, so make sure to check out whats been going on in there. We had a good time last night (July 4th) just hanging out, trying to get a fire started (haha), and playing some rock band. Hope you guys had a great time wherever you were at.

Save the date - March 16th @ 12:30pm we’ll start our ACC Championship party in room 2080 (college room). Please make every effort to be on time, we’ll be ordering pizza and need a head count. Just wanted to drop a reminder that our Retro Potluck is coming up next friday (Feb. 29 ). So start digging through your (or your parent’s closets) for those platform shoes, 80’s workout gear, or maybe just a nice grunge look. If you’re planning on coming you can find out what to bring, and more information in the Forums in the February section.

I was looking over the forums today and realized that we had just picked up our 25th member in just a few weeks…awesome! With over 250 posts in 95 different topics, the forums are turning out to be a lot of fun. The best way to get involved and find out what’s going on is to visit and sign up. See you there!

We’d like to pride ourselves in having every creative impulse ever…but it’s probably not true. If you love coming up with great ideas to help our community grow, whether its fun events, marriage builders, or growing us closer to God, we’d love to have you give us input in the Forums. Just to keep everybody in the loop, we had 1000 business cards printed the other day. Once they arrive, I’ll let ya know, and announce a way to get some of them. They look good, and they’re gonna be a great way to pass out info about this ministry. Also, look to see the YMofH linked to the gethope.net site and in the bulletin for a few weeks before the Retro Potluck. Start noting the potluck on your calendars if you can.
